Following to the announcement by the Prime Minister of Malaysia on 1st May 2020, the Government of Malaysia has eased the Movement Control Order to allow all economic segment in the nation to operate (except the stated in prohibited services) beginning 4th May 2020 provided that specific adherence and compliance is made by the related business that intends to operate from its premises.
In line with this new update, ASCO has made the decision to allow our employees to operate from our premises while adhering to the requirements conditioned by the Government, the Bar Council and other statutory bodies from time to time.
However, your health as our customers, members of the public including our employees shall remain our top priority, therefore we would like to inform that our firm will not be receiving or allowing any arrangement for any visitation, appointments or any physical engagement with any other individuals at this moment until further notice.
As this is a rapidly evolving situation, ASCO is monitoring the situation closely. Updates on our firms’ operations and additional information will be communicated via email as well as announced on our website (www.ascolaw.co) in due time.
Our communication channel via email shall continue to be available to all related parties whilst our telephone lines shall commence on the 4th May 2020. If you have any matter being handled by us, you may contact the liaison person in charge of your matter should you need any clarification on the legal implication and ramifications due to the order imposed.
